Full-time Waiver Specialist
The Waiver Specialist will carry a consumer case load that covers 14 counties in Southeast AR. The position requires daytime travel and 24/7 coverage for emergency calls. The waiver program serves children and adults with developmental disabilities. Primary job duties include needs assessments, file management, assistance with obtaining all types of state assistance, behavior management, hiring and supervision of direct-care staff, training, and development of an integrated plan of care for persons served.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation, Education or other human service field, plus 1 year of experience in care coordination/case management, plus 1 year of experience in supervision of staff.
